This document examines human security from a feminist and intersectional perspective. It argues that current approaches to security are rooted not only in patriarchal systems but also in a militaristic logic shaped by men’s experiences of risk and danger. This logic assumes the existence of internal enemies whose deaths would supposedly bring about peace; instead, it leads to the stigmatization of diverse individuals and communities.
