AIEP Professional Institute is a Chilean institution of technical and professional higher education with 25 campuses, an online program, more than 80,000 students, and a nationwide presence. It trains technicians and professionals and promotes community engagement, innovation, applied research, and continuing education. Its care agenda integrates training, community-based support, research, outcome measurement, communication, and partnerships. Its “Cuidando Juntos” (Caring Together) program strengthens the skills of informal caregivers in collaboration with municipalities and organizations and has benefited more than 8,000 people. AIEP also has a Care Advisory Council and expertise in aging, disability, gender, and intergenerational issues.
